At the request of the Ipoly Valley Special Rescue Association, our team also participated in securing first-aid services at the Börzsöny Ring bicycle race. More than ever before, almost one thousand five hundred participants started on Saturday morning in Szob, at the Börzsöny Ring cycling performance tour. The section of the ninety-kilometer distance between Szokolya-Királyrét and Nógrád, was difficult due a significant difference in elevation. Our team was deployed on a forest forest road. Here, the Ipoly-Völgy Special Rescue Service and the Börzsönyi Mountain Rescue Service took care of the cyclists' safety. Fortunately, there were only minor overturns and falls on the gravel road, so we only had to treat two minor, superficial injuries during the tour.
