The man reported that he slipped while hiking and fell on his ankle, experiencing severe pain and being unable to stand on it.\\n\\nThe duty officer of the mountain rescue service assessed the situation and decided that it would take too long for the mountain rescue unit to arrive from the Szokolya base. Instead, since the location was relatively easily accessible, he alerted the N\u00f3gr\u00e1d County Disaster Management Operations Control as well as the Ipoly Valley Special Rescue Association.<\/a>\\n\\nFollowing the alert, the Professional Firefighters from R\u00e9ts\u00e1g and the Ipoly Valley Special Rescuers from Balassagyarmat immediately headed to the scene.
