She reported that she had slipped while descending from Szent Mih\u00e1ly Hill towards Nagymaros and had severely injured her ankle. Following the alert from the National Directorate General for Disaster Management and the Hungarian National Ambulance Service, rescue units from the V\u00e1c Professional Fire Brigade, the Nagymaros Volunteer Fire Brigade, and the B\u00f6rzs\u00f6ny Mountain Rescue Service were immediately dispatched.\\n\\nRescue operations around Szent Mih\u00e1ly Hill always present unique challenges. One of the most important decisions for the incident commander is selecting the fastest of the three possible access routes to reach the casualty and carry out the evacuation. Two medical rescuers immediately continued on foot to the casualty, while two others assembled the specialised rescue equipment before following them. By the time the injury had been stabilised and the patient prepared for evacuation, paramedics from the Hungarian National Ambulance Service, together with firefighters from Nagymaros and V\u00e1c, had also arrived at the scene.\\n\\nWorking together, the rescue teams carried the patient for approximately 1.2 kilometres using the B\u00f6rzs\u00f6ny Mountain Rescue Service’s specialised rescue stretcher.
