Eventually, they reached a point where they could no longer continue upwards. Due to the steep and rocky terrain, the Mountain Rescue Service’s rope rescue specialists set up a rope system. The people of Per\u0151cs\u00e9ny are a remarkable community who have assisted the Mountain Rescue Service during rescue operations on many previous occasions, and this time was no different. A retired national park ranger \u2014 also named L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Dar\u00e1nyi \u2014 and J\u00f3zsef Varga immediately got into an off-road vehicle, picked up the ambulance crew waiting at the edge of the village and headed straight towards the casualty.\\n\\nThey reached the injured hiker within a short time.
