The 1st Börzsöny Trail MTB Festival was organized by Ipoly Erdő ZRt. and Újbuda MTB and Szabadidá SE on Saturday. On the route Diósjenő- Királyrét- Nagy-Hideg-hegy- Csóványos- Diósjenő, in places extremely dangerous an not accesible by cars members of the Börzsönyi Mountain Rescue Service also participated in the provision of first-aid service with Ipoly-völgyi Külgleges Mentők . The task was made more difficult by the fact that some parts of the route could not be accessed even by vehicles with high off-road capabilities, and traditional mobile phones do not have field strength in the high Börzsöny. About three hundred people took part in the race leading over difficult terrain. We had to transport two competitors from Nagy-Hideg Mountain to the ambulance waiting at Királyrét, and we had to treat a few lightly injured competitors.
