Following the alert, units from the Vác Professional Fire Department, the Nagymaros Volunteer Fire Department, the Börzsöny Mountain Rescue Service, and the National Ambulance Service—all highly coordinated teams—were dispatched to the scene. This was already the sixth time this year that emergency units responded to an injury at the Remete Caves.
The teams met at their usual rendezvous point, the Dömös Crossing on Highway 12, before continuing on foot through the Remete Valley and following the Ω trail to reach the Remete Caves.

From the Remete Caves, firefighters and mountain rescuers began transporting the injured person down using the mountain rescue service's specialized wheeled stretcher, making their way toward the waiting ambulance.
Fortunately, there was no snow around the Remete Caves, so the already challenging terrain was not further complicated by deep snow. However, the early morning frost had made the trail slippery, requiring extra caution while descending.

At Highway 12, the injured person was transferred into the waiting ambulance, and paramedics transported them to Vác Hospital for further examinations and medical care.
